PSL is all set to take place next year in 2017. As, PSL schedule 2017 has been announced. Since PSL was a major success last year. Therefore, it is all set to make its mark and emerge as one of the best cricketing leagues. PSL is already considered as a competitive league although it was took place only once. Yet it is regarded as the best after Indian Premier League. Drafting for PSL 2017 took place in October where a big announcement was made. As it was announced that final of PSL 2017 will take place in Lahore. According to the PSL schedule 2017 announced by PCB, it is stated that the final will take place on 7th of March 2017 and will be played in Lahore. Although it is subjected to security clearance yet it is believed that PSL will return its homeland in front of local viewers. Opening Ceremony of PSL 2017 will take place in Dubai at 9th of February. On the same day first match will be played between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi. First 6 matches will take place at Dubai International Stadium. After that PSL will move to Sharjah where next 8 matches will take place. Tournament will move back to Dubai for final 6 matches of group stage. Both of the knock-out matches i.e., Play-Off 1 and Play-Off 2 will be held at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Whereas Play Off 3 will be played in Dubai at 3rd of March 2017. Final of PSL is scheduled to be played in Lahore yet it has to get security clearance. Apart from that, good news is that all international players have agreed to play the final in Pakistan. Therefore it is a good sign for local cricketing fans. Matches of first edition of PSL were mostly low-scoring yet they were competitive. It is believed that this time teams will be able to put up big scores making this event even more entertaining.
